Hydrangea Bianco (Hbabia) A compact form of mophead hydrangea, more commonly known as Bianco, Hydrangea macrophylla Hbabia is a deciduous shrub with an upright, bushy, rounded habit. The ovate, slightly toothed leaves are deep green, turning red-purple in autumn. In the second half of summer and into autumn, dense clusters of white mophead flowers are borne over a long season. Hydrangea Bianco can also be grown in a container, and is good in a row of identical pots in a formal courtyard. Avoid full sun, as the flowers may scorch.
