Paniculate Hydrangea Angel’s Blush
A striking shrub for late summer colour in the larger garden, Hydrangea paniculata Angel’s Blush is a large, deciduous shrub with an upright, rather leggy habit, growing at a medium rate. The handsome, pointed, oval leaves are a deep green. From July to late September, huge conical panicles of pure white flowers appear, with mingled sterile and fertile florets. The flowers turn pinkish as they age, finally becoming rosy-red. Paniculate hydrangea Angel’s Blush can be pruned back quite hard in early spring.
