Jitish Kallat (born 1974) is an Indian contemporary artist. Profusely illustrated with full-page colour prints of Jitish Kallat's artwork. "Using images from newspapers and magazines, advertising billboards, wallpaper and graffiti, his works are richly layered and replete with metaphor. Kallat has reinvented the painted surface to mimic the appearance of a television still or a computer monitor, complete with its surface striations and auras.
