Weekend Family Pottery Workshop About the Workshop Join us for a fun children/families pottery workshop! Spend some time together with the young people in your life in a creative and fun way. You will work together with clay using handbuilding techniques guided by one of our expert teachers with the aim of creating some small pieces which you are welcome to bring with you to dry at home (please note these pieces can be used for display only and are not watertight).   1 ticket per person. Children must be accompanied by an adult guardian who also needs a ticket. What should I wear/bring?  Your clothes and shoes will get wet and dirty from clay splashes so please wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting messy. You may bring your own apron and a hand towel.  You may take as many of your pots home with you as you like so please bring small boxes (like Tupperware or cardboard) to bring your creations home with you.  What are my transport/parking options getting to the workshop? The nearest Luas Red Line stop is 'Four Courts', (a five minute walk away) and many bus routes service Stop 1479 on Ormond Quay, at the junction with Capel Street. You'll also find a Dublin Bikes stand at each of these locations. Due to our City Centre location, on-street parking immediately outside the building is limited, but there is pay and display in the general area, and there are large car parks nearby at Jervis Shopping Centre and beside the Fruit and Vegetable Markets.
