Flying Tumbler Irish Whiskey, a company founded by Patrick, Thomas, Jen & Eric Walsh, officially launched on August 29th 2020 in Dublin, unveiling it's first expression - 'The Bird'. After years apart working in various corners of the globe, the Walsh's returned to Ireland and worked with distilling experts to release small batches of independent Irish Whiskey that tell stories of their travels. With their family farm in Co. Carlow as a base, they drew inspiration from their family roots and from their travels further afield. Designing and bottling everything in house, this brand is truly unique in the Irish Whiskey landscape.Eric said:“The Bird' is a truly unique blend that we have carefully crafted using Irish techniques specifically with classic whiskey cocktail drinkers in mind. For our inaugural blend, we have blended casks of grain and malt whiskies matured in a mix of ex bourbon and ex oloroso sherry casks.
