Liriope Monroe White
A lovely little plant for a shady spot or woodland planting, Liriope muscari Monroe White is a small, evergreen, clump-forming perennial. The wide, strap-shaped leaves are deep green. From August to November, quite large, grape hyacinth-like, pure white flowers appear from greenish buds, and look wonderful against the foliage. To encourage fresh new growth, cut back damaged or tired leaves and flowered stems in spring. Lily turf Monroe White looks lovely with ferns or epimediums.
