The Giant All-colour Book of Fairy Tales is a collection of over 50 traditional fairy tales, retold by children’s author and editor, Jane Carruth.
It contains all the well-known stories by Hans Christian Andersen, Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm, along with a few lesser known ones like Perrault’s The Donkey-skin or Andersen’s Little Ida’s flowers.
Aladdin and Ali Baba are included from the Arabian Nights, and there are a few ‘Traditional’, stories such as Dick Whittington and Jack and the Beanstalk.
Published by Hamlyn in 1971. This is the Third Impression (1975).
The book is in good condition with binding intact. No dustjacket. The cover boards are worn.
