Catmint Walker’s Low
A more compact form of catmint than Six Hills Giant, Nepeta Walker's Low is a long-flowering, mound-forming, herbaceous perennial which makes a lovely edging to a border and looks particularly well with shrub roses. It has small, aromatic, mid-green leaves to which some cats are attracted. From June to September, spires of tiny, violet-blue, tubular flowers appear above the leaves; clip back after the first flush of flowers to encourage more flowering. Catmint Walker’s Low holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit, and is very attractive to bees and other pollinators.
