Cranesbill Dusky Rose A very pretty, long-flowering cranesbill, Geranium Dusky Rose is a diminutive, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial, ideal for the smaller garden. The lobed leaves are burgundy, sometimes dark green flushed with burgundy, both a lovely foil for the flowers. From May to September, soft-pink flowers with darker veins are borne on upright, branching stems; these are very good for bees. Cranesbill Dusky Rose will tolerate full shade, but will lose the burgundy colour in the leaves. Cut back hard after flowering to encourage fresh leaves and more flowers.
