After his daughter was born, he wanted to make his home softer, warmer and more humane, so he created this beautiful, decorative piece. Made from two layers of die cut Tyvek (a durable, un-tearable paper-like material), which are draped around a simple plastic cone to create a perforated lampshade that casts a soft, dappled light. This is a modern classic now and is one of those design pieces that never fails to wow.
