€8.00

Designist
We have two tea towels for grabs. The towels themselves are perfect, and are only missing their card wrapping, so you are grabbing a bargain!
Sheela na Gigs are mysterious stone carvings, over 100 of which are to be found in medieval tower-houses, churches and holy wells on the island of Ireland. While they're an interesting part of Irish mythology, it's possible you've never heard of them (we certainly didn't learn about them in school!), after all, a woman brazenly showing her genitals may not have the same storytelling appeal as fairies and banshees. Designed by artist Nessa Finnegan, these tea towels are hand-printed with beautifully rendered drawings of some of these enigmatic stone carvings.
How does it come?Folded with a card label 22 x 13 cm. Tea towel measures 51 x 72 cm approx.
