The vines it originates in, aged over 20 years, are subject to the marine influence of the Ría de Arousa and the Atlantic Ocean, providing it with its distinct salinity. Nai e señora (Galician for “Mother and Lady”) is our tribute to the powerful, independent women of the 21st century. “Nai e Señora”, Mother and Lady, is the expression poets in the early 20th century used to honour women—who worked hard to safeguard their families’ independence and Galician society—and their motherland: Galicia.
