A dark reddish-brown sap from a tree native to Thailand, Indonesia and adjacent islands. Best known as ‘Friar’s Balsam’. Benzoin has been used for thousands of years as an incense in rituals and ceremony to drive out evil spirits / negative vibrations.
It’s aroma is soothing and stimulant at the same time and it seems to ‘get things moving’. It is also very cosy and warming.
Burn on safe heat resistant surface. 40 min per stick.
