Hydrangea Masja A compact mophead, also known as Sibilla, Hydrangea macrophylla Masja is a medium-sized, bushy, deciduous shrub ideal for the smaller garden or for growing in pots. The large, rounded flower- heads are deep pink to clear red on alkaline soil, and a paler pink on acid soil; they are produced from mid- to late summer. The big, toothed, oval leaves are very deep green, colouring red in autumn. Protect from cold winds. Looks great in a ‘hot’ planting.
