Serbian spruce
As the name suggests, this tall narrow Spruce originates from Serbia mainly in the Tara mountains. It grows tall and thin, great for a feature along the skyline in any garden. Like other spruces, Picea omorika bears beautiful pink-red cones that disperse seed in the Autumn.
Growing as a Christmas tree:
Similar to the Norway spruce, but with an attractive blue underside to the needles. These trees are quite slender, so are suited to smaller homes. They're very popular in central Europe.
