It’s a small, deciduous, repeat-flowering shrub rose with a compact, dome-shaped habit and glossy, deep green foliage. From midsummer to autumn, warm, deep pink tall buds unscroll to clusters of single, cupped salmon to apricot flowers with a deep pink eye and golden-yellow stamens; the colour seems to vary with the light, and the fragrance is light. Shrub rose For Your Eyes Only is a tough, very healthy rose with buds and flowers covering the plant all summer and early autumn, and tolerates drought once established.
