Oakleaf Hydrangea Harmony A medium-sized, deciduous shrub with a rounded habit, Hydrangea quercifolia Harmony is very suitable for small gardens or pot culture. Dense, fat, conical heads of double white flowers are borne from mid-summer to autumn; the flowers are so heavy that they can droop, although the shrub seems better able to support them as it matures. The beautiful, deeply lobed leaves are dark green, turning purplish-bronze in autumn. Like all oakleaf hydrangeas, Harmony flowers best in full sun, but the beautiful leaves are larger in partial shade. Site: Will tolerate some exposureSoil: Any good, well drained soilPosition: Flowers better in full sunSeason of Interest: Summer to Autumn flowering, excellent Autumn colour.Hardiness: HardyHeight: 5ft (1.5m) Spread: 8ft (1.8m)
