Anemone Wild Swan Winner of the 2011 Chelsea Plant of the Year Award, hybrid Anemone Wild Swan is a clump-forming, herbaceous perennial, with a neat, mounded habit. The attractive, deep green leaves are toothed and lobed, and make good ground-cover. The single flowers are 3 ½”/9cm across, pure white with lilac-blue on the underside of the petals, and a boss of golden stamens in the centre; they are borne intermittently for a very long period between May and November. A lovely plant for dappled shade, Anemone Wild Swan does not run at the root, and is very good for pollinators. Dead-head to prolong flowering.
