The "Teddy Bear Cactus" or "Cylindropuntia bigelovii" is a member of the cholla cactus species and is a native to Northwestern Mexico, California, Arizona and Nevada, where it tends to grow in clustered formations.
Despite its name, this plant is far from cuddly with its dense armour of sharp formidable spines!
Like all cacti, this plant makes the perfect houseguest with little to no care requirements.
Care Instructions:
Won’t survive in soggy conditions. Soil must be dry and fast-draining.
Requires very little supplemental water. Too little moisture is always preferable than too much.
Keep in a bright sunny spot, away from drafty areas
Enjoys a medium to high temperature
