The "Sansevieria trifasciata" or "Mother-in-law's tongue" has wide strap-like, upright leaves that are green and stamped with wavy cross stripes in a lighter shading. This striping also gives it the nickname "snake plant". All sansevieria are quite versatile, adaptable and easy to look after. This is a large specimen plant and great for a medium to high light location and will do well with minimal care.  Care Instructions: Temperatures need to be kept above 10°C. Position in a bright spot but avoid too much direct sunlight. Rotate the pot every other week for even light exposure Let soil dry out significantly between watering, especially in the winter months.
