Kiwi arguta Weiki - male
A male baby kiwi and an excellent pollinator for female varieties, Actinidia arguta Weiki ® is a deciduous, twining climber, an attractive vine in its own right, with the best foliage of the species. Fast-growing, it flowers from April to June. Compact for a baby kiwi, it will reach 12’/3.65m, and will need supporting wires, along which the side-shoots should be trained. Baby kiwi Weiki does not fruit itself but will pollinate up to seven female baby kiwis, and is thought to improve the fruiting of self-fertile varieties like Issai.
This male variety is ideal for pollinating the female variety Kiwi arguta Kens Red
