Blueberry Grover A new blueberry cultivar, Vaccinium corymbosum Grover has very large berries. It’s an mid-season blueberry, with huge, juicy berries with a good flavour. Pretty pinkish-white bell-shaped blossom is borne in spring, followed by the blue-black berries with their lovely, waxy bloom, starting to ripen in early August. The bush is medium-sized, about 5’/1.5m, with a spreading habit, and is a reliable, very heavy cropper with lovely autumn colour. Blueberry Grover can be grown in soil-based ericaceous compost in containers, where the soil is not sufficiently acid.
