Now a sizeable negociant based in Beaune, all the wines made under the Maison Louis Jadot label are appellation contrôlée wines from across the region. The vineyards of Maison Louis Jadot are now scattered across 154 hectares of Burgundy, from the Côte d’Or to the Mâconnais and down into Beaujolais. For the last twenty years, Maison Louis Jadot has banned the use of any synthetic product on its vineyards (herbicides, pesticides, etc), favouring traditional viticultural techniques. Nose: aromatically intensive, polyphonic bouquet of fresh almonds, marzipan, dried pineapple and beeswax, which develop into notes of cinnamon and pepper as it matures Palate: firm and smooth at the same time, rich but very lively with racy acidity right through to the end with an elegant aftertaste of beeswax and a hint of ginger Chateau La Fleur Cravignac Saint Emilion Grand CruBordeaux, France1 x 75cl BottleThis is a family property located on the northwest side, one kilometer from the small medieval city of Saint-Emilion. It covers an area Just under eight hectares of vines grown on clay and limestone soils characteristic of Saint-Emilion. Its vineyards are composed 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvest by hand, traditional vinification, aging in French oak barrels for sixteen months, confer to our wine balance, finesse and elegance. The cabernet grape provides great structure and framework for the wine allowing it to be laid down for a period of time while maintaining its complexity during the ageing process. Merlot gives wonderful roundness and charm, and the Cabernet Franc, which comes from the estates oldest parcel of vines, adds complexity, finesse and character. These three grape varieties are the distinctive signs of this delicious wine. The wines of Château La Fleur Cravignac are round, fruit-forward, charming and full-bodied, ideal companions to a variety of meat, poultry or cheese dishes.
