The vineyard is Chateau Teyssier and this is one of their very best wines. It is classic Saint Emilion. If there were a perfect red wine for Christmas dinner, this is it. This is his flagship wine. it was his fathers estate, and while he was alive, Pierre only wanted to paint. When he dies, he left the estate to Pierre and he fell in love with teh estate and winemaking. One of his regrets was that his father didn't live to see his transformation. He created this wine 'for my father' and the label is Pierres own painting dedicated to his father too. The wine is special, rich and oaked gently.
