Their Wines are all outstanding, so much so that we brought them all into Ireland directly from the Chateau. They are all on allocation and they are priced in 3 tiers - €18, €23 and €27.50 Chateau L’Euzière is located in Fontanès, 25 kilometres north of Montpellier in the heart of the Pic Saint Loup, Languedoc’s flagship wine region. The Pic Saint Loup mountain stands like a beacon amidst the Languedoc countryside, abounding in legends and epitomising the greatness of history. It is a multi-faceted peak imbued with contrast, light and resonance. And it is the homeland and custodian of their vineyardse” of Minervois, which skirts the southern foot of the Montagne Noir range.   Ageing Potential: 25 Years Tasting Note: 80% Syrah, 15 % Grenache, 5 % Mourvèdre. Black hue with dark purple tints in its youth for an intensely fruity wine with brioche and pepper notes.  It reveals a beautiful structure yet stays very elegant. A very special wine indeed! Decant and serve at between 15 and 16°C with duck served with black olives and mushrooms, preserved lamb shoulder with pureed garlic and seasoning and young rabbit stew, for instance.
