Hand selected and harvested in mid September into small trays to keep them in perfect condition. Unlike vintage Port, which benefits from some years in bottle, Late Bottled Vintage does not need to be cellared and is ready to drink. Bottled after maturing in wood for up to six years, offering an early softness and development, LBV Port is only made available in those years when the harvest has been very good, thus constantly produce a mature port of vintage quality, and are ready for drinking without requiring decanting.
