The Caceres Reserva is a huge step up from their very good Crianza! Fruit here comes from selected plots in Rioja Alta which are well exposed to the sun, resulting in greater concentration. Aged for 22 months in French oak, then a further 2 years in bottle before release - very similar to the length of ageing given to other Rioja Gran Reservas Marques de Caceres Reserva is a deep dark purple in colour with a intense, complex bouquet. Firm oak aromas, with blackberries and black currants. This i a full bodied wine with a full concentration of flavours, character and structure. A classy wine with great ageing potential.
