25cm square framed in white of an original handwoven artwork by local artist Marlene Dahl. Marlene Dahl is a weaver and textile artist based in the west of Ireland. She finds inspiration from the ever-changing nature that surrounds her.  Intricate details in growth structures and formations in the landscape stimulate her compositions.  The artists design aesthetic narrates from her Scandinavian heritage and merges it with the love for the Irish culture. She uses a contemporary approach to an otherwise traditional craft. Marlene re-envisions and re-imagines the role and uses for woven cloth in modern homes and spaces.
