Let me tell you a little bit about Beeney Beanies.  Beeney is my Mum, her real name is Brigid but she earned that nickname as a child growing up in Westmeath from her Father and it has stuck.  She usually lives in London but returned to Ireland in the Summer so she didn't have to endure the lockdown on her own this Winter.  This is something I am very happy about as I have wanted my Mum to come and live with us here in Connemara for years so life has forced it's hand and made it possible - for now anyway.    So to keep her sane during these strange times she has decided to take to the needles and after we sourced some lovely Irish 100% Wool from Donegal we decided to bring her years of knitting for the family a bit further and launch Beeney's Beanies. This Beanie is a contemporary design and suits most people.  If there is a particular colour combination that you would like, just let us know and I'm sure Beeney will be happy to make it for you.
