Cashmere Gilli is truly unique. A bespoke twisted 100% Cashmere yarn especially made for Yarntelier by a specialist doubling company established in 1872. The colour palette features subtle marl mixes as well as some hotter couture combinations. The yarn is light and airy when knitted to a double knitting tension and is ideal for all types of knitting. Please note that Cashmere Gilli has a unique "bloom" that makes it suitable for knitting at a DK tension. The yarn is thin and lightweight in the ball but comes to life after the first wash. The spinning oil is preserved in this yarn to protect the fibres from friction during the knitting process.
