The "Echeveria" is in the Succulent plant group. These tender, perennial plants are grown primarily for their fleshy, evergreen leaves and the yellow-tipped flowers held on flower stalks that appear in the summer.  The Echeveria originates in the hot dry regions of the world but has become a popular low maintenance house plant closer to home here in Ireland.
