Artist Statement
Flood/Interpret
This body of work was created in response to social and physical environments that I interact it. The aim is to create a discourse on our environments and space; particularly ones that I find are present in my life and have influenced ways in which I create work. Creating intricate and layered imagery that is relevant to my own experiences, the work challenges my own perceptions of my environment while also involving my creative process. Ultimately the work becomes an amalgamation of process and environment and fundamentally develops its own relationship with the environment.
