This print was part of Folklore, a risograph exhibition celebrating the worlds of skate, graffiti, music and tattoo. Curated by Magnus Mudrack and Damn Fine Print.This is the letter R composed of fragmented overlapping shapes. Originally a digital drawing, it was later adapted to the Riso process of separating colours as separate files. Areas where the layers overlap were reconsidered to form part of the overall design. The piece is inspired by the improvised and independent approach to letter forms by graffiti artists.
