Patience This picture of a dog is based on an image from the Book of Kells. The Dog symbolises friendship. A true friend will be alert to undercurrents, care unconditionally and have the patience to listen to all. Growing up within the local heritage of the Boyne Valley, Colette’s work is inspired by ancient Celtic art.  Colette uses nib and ink to create intricate colourful drawings creating a contemporary interpretation of the iconic imagery of the Book of Kells.
