This print of an original painting is of the iconic  Boat House. Following the sinking of the Mary Stoddart (1858) in which a local man died during the rescue attempt, a life boat station was established in 1859 in Blackrock. A new building was built in 1900 and operated until 1935 when the service moved to Cloghehead . For a period after it  was used as a tea rooms, and is now in private ownership.  The print is on high-quality German etching paper and dry mounted. The print comes in two different forms. Boat house 1 is 15 x 35cm and 25 x 46cm when framed Boat house 2 is 35 x 21 cm and 30 x 45cm when framed Please note that colour may differ slightly from photos due to different monitor settings.
