'A Simple Harmony' is an original, textured abstract painting. I used a simple line drawing of abstract shapes as a starting point for this painting. Then let the painting dictate the next move as it progressed.The painting is open to interpretation by the viewer. The vertical abstract shapes could be trees, people or inanimate objects. It is a textured piece, painted using rollers, scrapers and knives as well as brushes and pallet knives. A statement painting that would provide an interesting focal point in the right space.
