We've included some familiar grapes like Albarino, but also it's cousin from close by, the Portuguese Alvarinho! Or how about Vermentino from Tuscany - a land known more for it's red and the music of Andrea Bocelli, than the white wine he and his family make in their family estate of the same name! Classy French Whites from Bordeaux and a Meursault alternative from the South of France make this a case you really should try if you are a white drinker - discover something new today! Whatever the celebration - this case is jam packed with great whites and we hope you love them all. El Camaron AlbarinoRias Baixas, Spain                        2 x 75cl bottlesAlbariño grapes from vineyards located within 8km of the winery, in the premium sub-zone of Val do Salnés. Picking up characteristic saline freshness. Soils are predominantly granite; decomposed and crumbly at the surface, with rocky outcrops. To ensure perfect sun exposure, vines are trained on traditional south-facing pergolas.  The wine is crisp, fresh and tropical. Chateau Haut Bessac BordeauxEntre-Deux-Mers 2 x 75cl bottlesThe Glotin family has been producing wines in Entre-Deux-Mers since 1930, when they acquired XXVIIIth century Château Goudichaud. One of the first female winemakers, Henriette Glotin, devoted herself passionately to her family domaine. Today, her grandson Yves runs Goudichaud in the same spirit of respect for the traditions that followed before, now producing 5 labels of very great wine. Haut-Bessac, their first label, produces wines of finesse that are accessible to everyone. The blanc is a perfect blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, distinguishing itself with floral aromas and citrus fruit. It is an easy wine, crisp and voluptuous, a modern day Entre-Deux-Mers.  This wine distinguishes itself with its floral aromas, mingling white flowers, blackcurrant and citrus fruits. It reflects our savoir-faire and our terroir. The nose amazes right from the first scent, the round and voluptuous mouth maintains a good persistency of the aromas which develop and increase. Domaine iCare Chardonnay Cotes du Thongue, South of France 2 x 75cl bottlesMover over Meursault. Like buying a house, the location determines much of the price. Well what if you bring modern winemaking techniques, winemaking expertise and top quality oak barrels to the South of France - The result is this wine and it is utterly sublime. It is fresh with a creamy texture from ageing on its lees. it will pair with creamy dishes and roast meats and it is wonderful. Usually €18 per bottle but just €14.40 as part of this case.   Andrea Bocelli Vermentino Tuscany, Italy 2 x 75cl bottlesBright pale yellow colour with hints of green. Andreas brother manages the winery today that they both grew up on.  Tuscany is widely known for its red wines and Chianti in particular. Vermentino from here has a wonderful salinity coming from the soils here. There is a lot of limestone here and it brings a lot of fresh minerality to the wines. The flavours explode in your mouth and the length is really generous here with this wine. One to savour over a Barbeque or a roast.                                                                                           Tenute del Pojo PasserinaPoggiofiorito, Italy 2 x 75cl bottlesThis wine is usually just €13 per bottle but just €10.40 as part of this case. There may not be a better value wine in Ireland at this price point as far as we are concerned, and if there is we would love to try it. Hailing from more red wine country on the East coast of Italy, Abruzzo is known for Montepulciano. You most likely have not heard of Passerina. If you haven't then this is a treat - This can be enjoyed on its own, for it is uncomplicated and easy going. it is fresh and if you like Albarino, you'll love this!   Casal de Ventozela AlvarinhoVinho Verde, Spain2 x 75cl bottlesNot many wines make it to the final three of the Irish Wine Awards. This got there and took a Bronze medal at the same time. Alvarinho is the cousin grape of Albarino so the style is in the same ball park. There are a lot of tropical flavours here of apricot, pear and lychee, with enough freshness and acidity to over come all of it. This is a serious wine with depth, full of flavours and powerful enough to take on a roast chicken or pork dinner, or even marinated chicken on the BBQ. A wonderful wine.  Total RRP: €228.00Mixed Case Price: €182.40Save €45.60 on this case! *From time to time vintages/wines may become unavailable, it is rare but in this instance we will replace the wine with a similar wine of equal or greater value.
