This class is an introduction to block printing with Blockwallah pre-cut printing blocks. Using a wide selection of Blockwallah printing blocks and the beautiful paper stocks and cards available in store, explore block printing through pattern and colour. This class will demonstrate printing techniques along with different applications and will prepare you to create your own bespoke printed pieces. You will go home with at least 5 Block printed Greeting cards and a variety of printed sheets that can be used for a personal project. But most of all we hope you will be going home with a better understanding of using design in block printing and an enthusiasm and confidence to create your own designs.   Bio Ger Heffernan is owner of UNIT. design studio. He is a graphic designer with a background in traditional printmaking.  He has a love of all things paper, print and hand-crafted and is continuously exploring new techniques and methods.
