Rioja . It is a wine made with Tempranillo, Red Garnacha, Graciano and Palomino , from an old vineyard, planted in 1920 on sandy soils with a sandstone subsoil, at an altitude of 520 meters. The harvest is manual in boxes of 20 kg. Once in the winery, it goes through the selection table and is destemmed and selected by hand, bean by bean. It is vatted by gravity in a small 2,000-liter tank, where it ferments and is punched down daily. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in 500-litre French oak barrels. Aging is in 600-liter French oak foudres for 14 months. The wine is bottled after a gentle filtering and without stabilizing.
