These are 3-skein sets of our Alpaca Boucle base that are great for a shawl, or carry-along yarn for an ombre sweater project. One of each skeins pictured, 3 skeins in total. Our new Alpaca Boucle is 66% Alpaca and 34% Silk, with delicate tiny boucles, which creates a yarn that is a great substitute for any mohair lace, whether used alone or as a carry-along yarn.  Similar to our Kidsilk Lace base, this yarn is fluffy and has a brushed look when knitted, however this one does not shed! The tiny loops hold fast the fibres and keep them attached. Randomly dyed to prevent striping or pooling, as much as possible, our yarns create variegated effect that looks good in plain stockinette or advanced stitch motifs.Hand-dyed in small batches in Cork, Ireland. Dyelots may vary though we represent every dyelot as accurately as possible in the product photos. Colours may vary from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. If you buy more than one, we will do our best to match them up. Please ensure you buy enough to finish your project as future dyelots may vary.
