Hand-woven fair trade 100 knot carpet, made using traditional crafts methods in Kathmandu, Nepal. Designed by bestselling Irish illustrator Chris Haughton featuring the owl from his first book A Bit Lost.
Size: 90x60cm
These rugs are produced by the fairtrade company Node which was co-founded by Chris Haughton himself; all craftspeople involved in producing the rugs are paid a fair wage, and profits go toward empowering disadvantaged people in Kathmandu and supports an orphanage.
