This iconic estate has been one of the standard-bearers of Vouvray and a true pioneer to adopt in 1990 biodynamic practices. Holding three of Vouvray’s finest vineyards, the domaine crafts an array of extraordinary Vouvrays ranging from bone-dry, Sec to sweet Cuvée Constance which ranks among the world’s greatest dessert wines.   A gourmet wine par excellence, Sparkling has been produced in Vouvray for almost 200 years. In keeping with our wine traditions, it is distinguished by a fine bubble. Not very effervescent and therefore not very aggressive, it gives way to the fleshy expression of Chenin.The bottles of Sparkling are stored away from light in the galleries of our cellar under the tufa. Our choice for optimum taste quality is to keep these cuvées on slats for at least three years. This allows the aromas to refine quietly and to offer a distinctive character to the sparkling wines of Domaine Huet. Tasting Note: The Domaine Huet Petillant 2017 is a creamy sparkling wine with citrus aromas, notes of white fruit and hints of honey. On the palate it is fine and elegant with well-integrated acidity. The finish is lingering and very pleasant.
