This is a new workshop for us, given by Anne Lowe who makes and sells her beautiful frames and pendants in The Crafty Rock. Silk ribbon embroidery is an old romantic art, dating back to the 17th Century, It brings alive a piece of embroidery with the use of silk ribbon, embroidery threads and beads. This workshop is for beginners', using embroidery and silk ribbon to create a unique piece using both mediums.  Price includes framing of the piece. Date: Monday February 27th Time: 11 - 4pm Venue: The Crafty Rock Shop Cost : €70 which includes all materials and a frame for your piece. You will be supplied with a kit containing: Printed piece of fabric with backing. Hoops. Embroidery threads. Silk ribbon. Needles. Backing mount for framing. Frame. Colours may differ. It also includes a light lunch served in the shop  A minimum of 3 participants is required for the class to form. Booking is essential either by prepaying for the course online or by paying a deposit of €30 in the shop and the balance on the commencement of the course. Please note deposits are non-refundable unless a replacement is found.  A minimum number of 5 participants is required for the course to proceed.
