Azalea Northern Hi-Lights
A deciduous azalea, Rhododendron (AK) Northern Lights has a bushy, ground-covering habit. The leaves, which emerge mid-green, turn colour in autumn. The funnel-shaped, moderately-scented, pale yellow flowers with a rich yellow central blotch, appear in spring; they mature to yellowish-white. Good in cottage gardens, informal gardens and in the partial shade of deciduous trees. Needs minimal pruning, apart from removing dead, damaged or crossing branches.
