About the ArtistKaren began screen printing many years ago in order to make merchandise for her bands, leading her to work as a print studio technician, commercial printer and tutor alongside her visual arts practice. Karen has been exhibiting since 2012 in group and solo contexts. Her most recent soloexhibitions were Loose on the Streets in The Darkroom, September 2022, Scurrying Things, Kenilworth Ln Studios, April 2022, and Fragments, Damn Fine Print, February 2020. Karen is a multidisciplinary artist working across fine art print, moving image, audio and installation. Karen is currently completing an artist residency Future Labs with DAS Belfast and hasrecently completed a residency at The Darkroom, D7. Karen is a current recipient of the Arts Council Bursary and a previous recipient of the Arts Council Agility Award.
