This Celtic jewellery pendant includes hand-formed ceramic piece in the shape of an ingot. Each piece has been fired few times in a professional potters kiln, hand etched with 24 K gold and finally set in sterling silver.Ogham writing is an ancient, Celtic language that first appeared around 400 AD as a secret means of communication in early Christian Ireland. It would have been carved into standing stones and as means of marking place and territory.Each of the dashes (or combinations) form letters.The pendant is entirely made by hand our studio and it’s one of a kind. Each piece is unique and it will vary slightly.Dimension of the pendant: 4.6 cm x 1.6 cmIt comes with 45 cm (plus a little extra as an extension) sterling silver chan.Care of this pendant- clean the bezel and chain with a polishing cloth.
