Gold filled is a layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is more valuable and more tarnish resistant. Anyone who can wear gold jewellery can wear gold filled without worries of any allergic reaction to the jewellery - it's a more economical alternative to solid gold. Danu Ceramics use gold plated brass chains for their handmade jewellery.The chain can be easily reshined using ketchup or lemon juice, and is very strong and robust.This ensures that your jewellery will last a lifetime - keeping the warm, gold colour of the chain, as well as being very affordable.
