This is a killer example of the versatility of Ethiopian coffee. Because it’s so sweet and juicy it’s great as a filter coffee but the lack of too many floral notes mean it works really well on espresso and with milk too. The biggest thing that separates it from some African coffees is that it’s very easy to drink. It’s not full of sharp acidity instead giving loads of sweetness. It’s still clearly Ethiopian in profile but goes down much more smoothly than you might expect!
The artwork for this album is based on Opposites by Scottish band Billy Clyro. Their first foray into the world of the double album it has everything from thoughtful ballads to angular, prog infused belters. If you only know them for that one big song then do yourself a favour and check this one out.
