In this box we have two beautifully presented and top quality Italian wines from Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli Both are from the North of Italy and anyone that loves wine will know them straight away. We chose them because the producers are two of the top wine producers in Italy if not the world. Bocelli Vineyards Vermentino Tuscany, Italy 1 x 75cl Both Alberto and Andrea enjoy successful careers outside of wine, neither has forgotten their rootstock, and their historic farm near Volterra remains a wellspring of family pride and inspiration. Since 1831, generations of Bocelli's have left their fingerprints on bottles, and these two brothers have elevated wine to an artform. Produced only from Vermentino grapes grown in vineyards in the Scansano region that overlook the Tyrrhenian Sea. This wine is matured without wooden barrels and is bottled at an early stage to preserve its freshness. Bright straw yellow in colour, this Vermentino opens on the nose with aromas reminiscent of white flowers and yellow plums. This medium-bodied wine has a succulent palate with refreshing acidity and delicate apricot notes on the finish. Bocelli Vineyards Chianti  Chianti, Tuscany, Italy 1 x 75cl This wonderful single estate Chianti DOCG offers a rich, lush and vinous bouquet, whose flowery and fruity notes lead to a finish with a slightly spicy fragrance of dark chocolate and a hint of sweet fruit. Andrea Bocelli is the most successful classical artist of all time, with over 70 million albums sold worldwide. Besides being a famous Tenor, Andrea and his family produce beautiful classic Italian wines on their small estate in Tuscany. For more than 150 years, the Bocelli family has made Sangiovese on their small farm in Lajatico, Toscana. As part of a long line of Bocelli’s, they are committed to making terrific wine and keeping productions small.  This is what Alberto and Andrea Bocelli say made from hand-picked grapes from the Montalcino and Siena region, this wine is approachable, easily digestible and well balanced with pleasantly fruity notes.
