Grown in extremely dry desert climates in Madagascar, Africa, India, and Arabia. For good cause, the baobab tree is renowned as the "tree of life." It offers housing, clothes, food, and water to local tribes and communities. Its trunk can retain up to 120,000 litres of water, and the oldest African Baobab trees have been dated to be between 1000 and 3000 years old!
